The ISB is a non profit organization for biocurators, developers, and researchers with an interest in biocuration. The society promotes the field of biocuration and provides a forum for information exchange through meeting and workshops.
The ISB is committed to the inclusion and recognition of all community members regardless of race, age, culture, ability, ethnicity or nationality, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, marital status, religious affiliation, and socioeconomic status.
ISB Annual General Meeting
The International Society for Biocuration (ISB) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 along with presentations by our two biocurator career award winners, Sushma Naithani and Maria Victoria Nugnes.
Time: 3:00–5:00 pm CET / 2:00–4:00 pm BST / 10:00 am–12:00 pm EST / 8:00–10:00 am PST
Note that daylight savings begins in Europe/UK on October 27th and daylight savings begins on November 3rd in the USA, so there’s a slightly different offset than usual. All canonical times for this event are based on European time!

EC Elections
The election of three members of the International Society for Biocuration Executive Committee (ISB EC) will be held from September 25th – October 2nd, 2024.
The election has ended. Thanks to all who voted. The new EC members will be announced at the ISB Annual General Meeting.
